Yes, there are some great resource sites that offer free CGI scripts.

As I mentioned in last week's issue, with CGI you can create your own search engine (this is a real traffic builder), start a classified ad service, start your own FFA ("Free For All" links) site, run a dating/ matchmaking service, implement powerful traffic building scripts into your website, add user polls, a tell-a-friend button, smart email forms, postcard systems, databases, web statistics in graphics format, and lots more. You can even capture "environmental variables" of your visitors, such as their IP number and their browser type & version.
